Dark and Deadly Drawings

I've been busy making ATCs for the 'Dark and Deadly Dolls' swap on ATCs for All. It's been great doing some original hand drawn artwork after a long break from it. I just love my Prismacolours - they are the best pencils in the world.......and I love the technique of blending them with low-odour thinners - it gives them a softer look, almost like watercolour. The theme was great fun and I'm really pleased with the results.......I'll be sad to part with them!

There and Back Again

Got back from Wales yesterday, and despite the overcast weather and blustery sea breezes we had an enjoyable few days away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. At least I was prepared this time with my Regatta coat and sturdy boots!!!!
Found some really cute 'Watchover Voodoo Dolls' in a great shop called 'Stars' in Aberystwyth....and being a crafty type of person, I'm already trying to make my own!!! That's the problem with being creative......instead of just buying something handmade and enjoying it, I'm always trying to improve on it and add my own twist........
Today.....being Thursday.....is Doughnut Thursday at work.....however I am still 'on holiday' so will have to wait until next week for my dose of sugar and jam!
